Jade Mountain Resort
Jade Mountain Resort is one of the top luxury resorts in Soufriere, St. Lucia. Their infinity pool overlooking the Piton Mountains is a million-dollar view. Guests get to pamper themselves with not only an epic view but specialty spa treatments and world-class food from their fine-dining restaurant.
There are 24 rooms that each have its own private infinity pool attached. Plus 5 rooms that don’t have private pools, but a romantic 2-person jacuzzi. Each room provides mesmerizing views of the Piton Mountains. All rooms have 15 ft high ceilings and an open-air design, meaning the fourth wall is completely open to the Caribbean Sea.
Since Jade Mountain Resort is up on the cliffside, it’s not directly on the beachfront. However, their sister property, Anse Chastanet Resort, has amazing beach access just down the hill.
An additional luxury at Jade Mountain Resort is their helipad that allows guests to fly directly to their resort from the local airports. Guests no longer have to travel on the windy, narrow roads of St. Lucia.

Sugar Beach Resort (A Viceroy Resort)
Sugar Beach Resort is uniquely nestled right between Petit Piton and Gros Piton. What makes Sugar Beach so unique, is they import white sand to the beachfront. This makes their beach one of the best beaches in St. Lucia.
This area used to be an old sugar plantation in the 18th century but has since been turned into one of the most luxurious hotels in Soufriere, St. Lucia.
Plus, guests are steps away from the Anse Piton Marine Reserve which is one of the best places to snorkel in St. Lucia. (Honestly, some of the best snorkeling we’ve EVER done).
Guests can choose between luxury guest rooms and cottages that have epic views of Gros Piton and their own private plunge pools. Or luxury beachfront bungalows which are just steps away from the beach. Or choose a residence which range from 1 to 4 bedrooms and all come with a full kitchen.
Sugar Beach Resort has 6 different restaurants to keep your taste buds entertained for the duration of your vacation.
Don’t worry if Sugar Beach Resort is not within your budget. All beaches in St Lucia are public, so you can still book a water taxi or tour group to experience this incredible beach.

Ladera Resort
The Ladera Resort sits 1000 ft up on the cliffside with breathtaking views of Petit Piton.
Each room has an open-air design, only having 3 walls, and the 4th wall is open to the view of Petit Piton. Plus each room comes with its own private pool making it simply one of the best hotels in Soufriere. Guests don’t even have to leave their rooms in order to get their own slice of paradise.
The Dasheene is the only restaurant on site serving authentic local cuisine. Guests also have the option to request a fine-dining Dasheene Wine Pairing Experience. This extra add-on offers a 6-course dinner menu paired with the best wines from world-famous Vineyards and Wineries. Guests might also consider checking out some of these other delightful restaurants in the town of Soufriere.
Ladera Resort does not have beachfront access, but the resort does provide a complimentary shuttle to and from Malgretoute Beach.
Stonefield Villa Resort
Another amazing boutique hotel in Soufriere, St. Lucia is the Stonefield Villa Resort.
Guests have the option of a 1-bedroom villa or up to 5-bedroom villas. So whether you are looking for a romantic getaway or bringing the whole family, Stonefield Villa Resort has you covered.
Each room comes equipped with its own private plunge pool and sweeping views of the Piton Mountains.
They also offer luxury spa treatments and even rejuvenation retreats.
The Mango Tree is their only restaurant on site. Offering a farm-to-table experience, using only local organic herbs, fruits, and vegetables. Their menu is often tweaked to accommodate what is in season, and what they have sourced for the day.
Stonefield Villa Resort is not located on the beach, but the resort offers a complimentary shuttle to Malgretoute Beach.

Rabot Hotel from Hotel Chocolat
The Rabot Hotel is where chocolate meets luxury meets one of the all-time best views on the island of St. Lucia. Seriously, I don’t know if there is a better combo.
The Rabot Hotel at Hotel Chocolat is a 140-acre organic and sustainable cacao farm. But not only is it a farm, but there are also 25 unique eco-lodges that guests can rent out.
Guests have the choice between a traditional eco-lodge or a luxe eco-lodge. The luxe rooms are slightly bigger because they have a private verandah. Each room comes with an epic view of Petit Piton. Do note the rooms only come with a ceiling fan and no air conditioning.
There is one restaurant on site, but don’t worry because they have such a unique take on their fine dining. All dishes and cocktails incorporate cacao in one way or fashion. And there cacao-infused cocktails are divine. Our sunset dinner at Rabot was one of the most magical experiences we’ve had in St. Lucia.
Rabot Hotel does not have beach access, but there’s an infinity pool looking out on Petit Piton. Guests will need to rent a car or get a taxi to and from the beach.
Caille Blanc Villa & Hotel
Caille Blanc Villa might be one of the most unique luxury hotels in Soufriere, St. Lucia. This adults-only resort is an old residence that has been broken up into 6 stunning villas. Each suite has a personal touch of decor collected by the owner from around the world.
The Pavillion is the only restaurant on the property. They offer Creole-style cuisine with American fare.
Caille Blanc Villa is not located on the beach, but the resort offers one complimentary shuttle to and from the beach per day.

Green Fig Resort & Spa
Green Fig Resort & Spa is a great mix between luxury and affordable hotels in Soufriere, St. Lucia. You get the epic views of Petit Piton without completely breaking the bank. This tree-house vibe resort is notched into the cliffs above Soufriere, so there are stunning views from almost anywhere on the property.
Guests can soak in the plunge pool, pamper themselves at the spa, or go on a fun excursion around the island.
There are a variety of different rooms to choose from. Like an open-air style room looking out to the Caribbean Sea or a king balcony room with AC. They also offer standard queen rooms at an affordable price.
Saltfish is the one restaurant on site. They offer a variety of local Caribbean cuisine with a variety of local ingredients. Try the national dish of St. Lucia, green fig & saltfish.
The Green Fig Resort & Spa is not located on the beach, but it’s just a short 8-minute walk to Soufriere Beach Park. However, it’s a very steep walk back up to the resort. Guests might consider getting a taxi to return or visit some other great beaches near Soufriere.

Anse Chastanet Resort
Anse Chastanet Resort is a large family-friendly resort right on the beach. The resort is not actually situated to have views of the Piton Mountains, as it’s tucked in a cove.
Their Premium Hillside Rooms and Piton Pool Suites are the only rooms that get the epic Pitons view.
There is actually no pool on site unless you book a Piton Pool Suite. But their Anse Chastanet Beach is definitely one of the best beaches on the island and features world-class snorkeling.
There are 5 restaurants on-site, including a bar and grill at their second beach, Mamin Beach. If you are looking for absolute seclusion, heading down to Mamin beach will offer peace and tranquility.
Anse Chastanet Resort has access to its sister property Jade Mountain Resort. But you need to make a reservation if you want to use their pool, spa, or eat at their restaurant.
An additional luxury to staying at Anse Chastanet Resort is the access to a helicopter transfer to and from the resort (for an additional fee).

Fond Doux Eco Resort
If you are looking for peace, tranquility, and a piece of St. Lucian history, Fond Doux Eco Resort is the perfect place for you. This hotel in Soufriere sits on a historic 19th-century working cocoa estate.
Guests can choose between 1 or 2-bedroom hand-built cottages, with the option of upgrading to a room with a private pool. The rooms are rustic but resemble colonial history. Everything is made by hand or preserved to resemble the 250-year-old working plantation.
While the Fond Doux Plantation doesn’t have views of the Pitons, there is a short trail on-site through tropical vegetation that leads to an epic view of Petit Piton.
There are two restaurants on the property. The Creole Pot offers authentic Saint Lucian Creole cuisine. And the Bamboo offers an a-la-carte style menu with a fusion of Caribbean and St. Lucian cuisine.
The Fond Doux Resort is not located on the beach, but there is a complimentary shuttle service to and from Sugar Beach each day. Guests are welcome to use the Sugar Beach Resorts beach chairs at no additional cost.

La Haut Resort
La Haut Resort is one of the more affordable hotels in Soufriere, St. Lucia but still has impressive views of the Piton Mountains. This resort sits on an old coconut and cacao farm. The main guest house is about 100 years old and traditionally used for fermenting and drying cacao beans.
Guests can choose from a variety of different rooms. Some in which offer stunning views of the Piton Mountains and others offer beautiful garden views. All rooms are rustic and resemble a piece of history.
There is one restaurant on-site, ComLukYah Restaurant, which offers a variety of Caribbean, Asian, and International Cuisines.
La Haut Resort is not on the beach, but many great beaches in Soufriere are just a short drive away.
The Downtown Hotel (Best Budget Hotel in Soufriere)
Located in the heart of Soufriere is The Downtown Hotel. It’s one of the best hotel deals in Soufriere but still offers that million-dollar view of Petit Piton.
All rooms are rather basic and could probably use a nice refresh. Do note, not all rooms have a piton view, so make sure when booking the room, you select the Sea/Piton View Standard Room.
Nonetheless, the location is just a short 5-minute walk from Soufriere Beach Park where you can view the stunning Piton Mountains from shore. Plus, the hotel is just a 2-minute walk to the pier where many water excursions take off from.
There is no on-site restaurant, but guests have access to tons of great options in the Soufrière city center.

Vacation Home Rentals in Soufriere, St. Lucia
If you don’t need all the bells and whistles that come with resorts and hotels, then a vacation rental home might be the perfect accommodation in Soufriere, St. Lucia.
There are tons of great rental homes with epic views of Petit Piton and/or Gros Piton Mountains.
Jake and I stayed in a vacation rental for a portion of our trip in St. Lucia. Our balcony offered one of the most affordable breathtaking views of Saint Lucia. Our host was very attentive and always made sure we had everything we needed. Plus many of the hosts will offer to help set up taxi transfers or fun excursions.

There are tons of great hotels in Soufriere St. Lucia that offer a million-dollar view of the Piton Mountains. When Jake and I visited Saint Lucia, we literally could not stop staring at this mesmerizing sight. (But…we’re kind of obsessed with mountains).
We’d visit restaurants that had a view, go on tours so we could get a different angle, or even visit different beaches so we never had to take our eyes off of the beauty.
