Connect Pass Options for This Brewery Tour in Salt Lake City:

The best part about this pass, is that you access it through your phone. You purchase the brewery tour pass through Visit Salt Lake and at every brewery, you just show them your pass, hit redeem and the brewery will pump in their unique code. Here is all the information you need to know about the different passes.

The overall value of the pass is $60.

1- Day Pass:

Cost: $15

Jake and I purchased the day pass and it was well worth the money. Utah’s pints are usually $5 or under, therefore you make your money back up in 3 visits. We were only going to be in the city for 1 day, so the day pass made the most sense. The pass expires 24 hours after the first use.

3- Day Pass:

Cost: $20

If you are planning to be in the city for a few days, we think paying the extra $5 for the 3 day pass makes the most sense. You then can spread out your brewery tour visits to a couple a day and it pays itself off. The pass expires 72 hours after the first use.

90- Day Pass:

Cost: $30

If you live in Salt Lake City, it is well worth paying the $30 for the pass because you can than visit all 12 breweries at your own pace. This pass expires 90 days after the first use.

Food Options On This Brewery Tour in Salt Lake City:

Proper Burger

Most of the breweries have food or have a food truck out front. Utah has a rule that if you buy a beer in a pub or restaurant, then you have to order food as well. The breweries have a roundabout way of having snacks on the menu for a reasonable price ($.25- $1+). But lets be real, if you are out drinking for a good portion of the day, you should probably put some food in your belly!

The Brewery Tour pass works for a beverage, food or merchandise, therefore you can skip a beer at one of the places and just order food if you want to make the most of the pass. Here is a list of restaurants and pubs.

This is the “I’m just here for beer, but I have to buy food menu!”

Transportation For This Brewery Tour in Salt Lake City

Walk:

Walking is by far the cheapest way to visit all the different breweries in Salt Lake City and also the safest. But, it is also going to take the longest to get to and from each brewery.

Bike:

If you have your own bike, then this is a great mode of transportation to the different breweries. If you are just visiting Salt Lake City, than there is GREENbike that can cost as little as $5 a day. You must sign up through GREENbike’s website for a small membership fee. Then, you simply grab one of the bikes at their numerous locations around the city and return it in to one of the racks around the city within the time frame you rented it for.

Electric Scooter:

Naturally, the most fun option is to ride around on the motorized scooters such as limes, birds, etc. But, it can add up quick if you hop on one between each brewery, but it is fun! Beware because these scooters can be dangerous, so be sure to use them toward the beginning of your brewery tour and leave the end of the tour to walking or taking public transportation.

Uber/Lyft/Taxi:

Another great option is to grab an Uber, Lyft or Taxi between breweries or at the end of the night back to your home.

Light Rail/Bus:

Public transportation is a very easy way to get around, but they obviously don’t stop out front each brewery. Therefore, you will need to navigate the best route and stop to get off for each one and mostly have to walk a ways to each one. But it is a very great option for staying on a budget and not driving yourself!

Designated Driver:

The best option of all, is if you have a member of your group that wants to join the brewery tour but doesn’t want to partake in the drinking, therefore he/she can drive you to each brewery!

Takeaway:

If you are looking for something fun to do in Salt Lake City, this brewery tour is a great way to see the city and hop around to taste great beers. The breweries aren’t super far from each other, therefore it can be easy to hop around to a few different ones.

We had so much fun, but be safe out there because you will be on busy traffic roads. Enjoy! Also, check out some other fun attractions near Salt Lake City or some epic hikes in Utah.
