Etee Wraps:

We have found these eco-friendly Eetee Wraps to be very durable and easy to clean. They are biodegradable, non-toxic and plastic free. They are easy to store freshly cut veggies, cover over dishes or wrap baked goods in etc.

Reusable Snack Bags:

ust gear: silicone boil and storage bags

Reusable Snack Bags go along with the eco-friendly product listed above, but these are designed for snacks and sandwiches! We love using these for trail mix or sandwiches when we go on a hike!

Hydroflask Water bottles:

Hydroflask Water Bottles are one of our favorite eco-friendly products. I (Emily) love ice-cold water, therefore having a vacuum-insulated water bottle helps keep my water cold for multiple days.

These also help reduce single-use plastic water bottles. A plus, is a Hydroflask should essentially last you a lifetime. You can drop these water bottles on the ground and try to destroy it, it will fight you back!

Silicone Scrubbie:

These Silicone Scrubbies are great for non-stick pots and pans. They are made from silicone so they won’t scratch the surface. Living in a van has helped us reduce our water use, therefore these little scrubbers are great for not getting your sponge as grimmy and easier to wash off!

Insulated coffee mug:

I am in love with my Insulated coffee mug! It usually takes me about an hour or so to sip on a cup of coffee. Therefore, having one of these both cuts down on the use of a paper cup with a plastic top from a coffee shop and I get to have hot coffee for multiple hours of the day!

Reusable grocery bags:

We have found using reusable grocery bags to be the easiest way to cut down on single-use plastic. Simply just keep them in your car and it’s super easy to remember when you stop at the grocery store!

In the town we used to live in, they started charging for plastic and paper bags, therefore it was easy for us to switch over to always reusing our own grocery bags.

Mesh Produce Bags:

I am not sure how grocery stores haven’t already started cutting down on the use of plastic bags to put our produce in, but these mesh produce bags are something we found super simple to change over too. We usually keep them in our reusable grocery bags so you don’t forget them.

These bags are also very easy to clean in a laundry machine, so you don’t have to worry about them getting gross from reuse!

Reusable Straw:

I’m sure you have all heard by now, about the plastic straw epidemic. And really, we find it pretty easy to just either ask for no straw or to use our own for drinks.

I love using my Silicone Straw and I find it easy to clean with the brush usually included with purchase. Another popular item is using Bamboo Straws because they are biodegradable and naturally made.

Kindle:

We know, everyone loves to actually have the book in hand, but think about how many trees you can save by getting a Kindle?! Kindles can hold multiple books and easy to bring along everywhere!

Dr. Bronners Soap

Dr. Bronners Soap has been around since 1858 and we feel they have mastered eco-friendly soap! Their soap is made with organic oils, good for the environment and it’s even good for you and your body! You don’t just have to use this soap for dishes, you can use it in the showers or as laundry detergent, etc!

Diva Cup

Now, this one is directed toward the ladies. Let alone, the price can add up for tampons, but the amount of waste adds up too! Diva Cups are great for cutting down waste, and it can technically be used for a single use, twice as long as a tampon.

Shampoo Bar

This Shampoo Bar has lasted me forever! I live on the road in a camper van, so this product is small yet effective.

It comes in a bar form, but it suds up and gives you a clean feel as you lather your hair.

Cotz Sunscreen:

There are a ton of sunscreen brands out there nowadays, but a lot of them are harmful to the environment. Therefore, Cotz Sunscreen may be the best way to save the planet.

Cotz is plant based and safe to use around marine life. Protect your skin and protect the environment too.
